My experience was wonderful. The dress fit like a glove and looked absolutely perfect on my wedding day. He is lovely to work with & incredibly affordable!
I worked with Charles Josef on my weddi by suit. Charles altered it perfectly and I seriously have never looked better in a suit. Pricing and turn around time are extremely reasonable. Charles Josef is a professional and will be my go to in WNC for future suit tailoring needs. My wife had her dress altered too - Her process was smooth and successful as well. She looked stunning. If you are looking for a professional, hard working, and incredibly talented tailor - look no further. Charles Josef did the alterations for my wedding dress - taking a complicated, beaded, much larger dress, and fitting it to me perfectly. My mother, and now-husband were also assisted by Charles, and had wonderful experiences. I am so glad that I know Charles now, and will be bringing all my garments to him. He is a textile whisperer, and can accomodate all different body types and sizes. We are so grateful to you, Charles.
Charles Josef is an absolute gem! From the very first fitting, he was warm, body-positive, and made me feel beautiful and confident in my gown. In reference of two previous reviews, unfortunately my experience with wedding gown alterations through Charles Josef was not what I expected leading up to my wedding day. I purchased a gown off the rack from Meadowbrooke and during my appointment, the girl assisting me insisted she had looked over the dress and all that was needed was new boning and hemming. My mother was not even able to look at it before she had already put it in a garment bag. They do give 10% off for a dress “off the rack”, but I ended up paying over wh... read more
