So I was shopping for a new Primary Care Provider (PCP) after my PCP in Beverly Hills sent me a letter that he was leaving the general access practice to become a Compass provider at Cedars Sinai. The cost to enroll in that “concierge type” program is $6,000 a year . (Yes you read that right.) I’ve been with him for over 30 years so was still driving to BH twice a year for a face-to-face visit. The most unqualified physician. I have ever met. He was unaware of my current diagnosis. Didn't know what one was and didn't know how to treat another. Office staff is rude and very unhelpful. I even received a threatening phone call from his staff about my co-pay that I was unaware of. I returned to his clinic and paid it. They had already canceled my next appointment stating Dr. Gonzales is refusing to see me until co-pay was made. Well it was paid promptly upon learning I had one. I don’t know why I see on Facebook all these gay people talking negatively and saying not to go to Dr. Gonzales. Having just moved here from Florida. I chose him as my doctor as did my husband. Dr. Gonzalez is very caring very patient and does not rush you. I actually feel like I am being listened to and given the attention. I deserve as a patient. I highly recommend going to him and having him as your primary doctor.
I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Gonzales. It is difficult to find a good primary care physician in Palm Springs. I was referred to him by another doctor who was also his patient. Dr. Gonzales is well read and very focused on his patient's specific needs. He efficiently addresses each one with great care and follows up on each subsequent appointment until the issue is resolved. I also want to give a shout out to his front office.
