After a full day of moving a family member into the area, we walked to this family friendly pub. The music was live but not too loud and the renovation blends in well with the hotels era. We had a baby with us but other groups had older children who had been occupied drawing on paper and pencils clearly supplied by the pub. Fantastic Sunday roast! Both the pork and beef roast were delicious and satisfying. Not to mention the supply of all the mustard you can garnish in helping yourself. Live music on the sports side of the pub was nicely separated from the family friendly dining side of the pub with lovely courtyard setting and quieter vibes. Highly recommend!
We’ve been loyal customers of the Charing Cross for years, often visiting weekly, but an incident has completely changed how we see this venue. While dining with friends for Sunday roast, our 2-year-old dropped a little pasta on the floor — something every parent knows is part of eating out with toddlers.
