Just purchased an electric Toyota this week and downloaded an app called Shell Recharge and found this charger next to my apartment. With the shell recharge app, I was able to connect the J1772 level 2 charger to charge my Toyota for 2 hours and it was free! Would charge again. Maybe once Mercedes makes a good plug-in hybrid I'll purchase one. I don't want an SUV, I want a coupe PHEV.
There’s this tall Indian-looking man who walked up to me like he wanted to fight, hollering about how the charger is for private use only! Not greenbook 2.0 approved, Black men stay away! Dangerous!

Mercedes salesman came out and told me it was a private lot and I couldn't charge there.
