As of Apr 2, 2024, there are 4 Chargepoint towers, with 2 connections each. While this theoretically services 8 vehicles, the combo of insufficient snow clearing and poor parking by customers means there are effectively fewer (rammed my Tesla into a snow bank to grab the "last" available early Tue morning for some mediocre Spring riding conditions). There's no system or incentive to get cars to move along after they have enough charge. They'll probably be full the entire time (and that's if they're working). They need considerably more stalls and higher prices/idle fees so EV drivers can actually count on adding enough charge to make it out of Kirkwood and to a supercharger if needed.

Do not depend on these. Chargers were down last time I went (Jan 2022), spent an hour trying to find someone to reset them. Local staff did their best but failed to make them work. I only made it home thanks to the kindness of a local who let me charge in his garage. Seems the experience has not improved.
