They don't know what they're doing. I was forced to get COBRA through them, and they only took two payments with a bank draft that I had set up. I had no idea , then, that my insurance was not active for 4 months until my oncology office alerted me about it. When I called, they said I could "appeal" the deactivation of my insurance, which was bull since they were the ones who caused it. I now have to wait 15 days to have my insurance active again, not knowing if I'll be covered in the meantime or not! They didn't know? ... read more

- 10 Stars.Never ever use FSA with Chard Snyder. They refused to pay 750 USD because I changed jobs. After 3 months they did not accept my bills. They made it also very difficult to use it, because after paying the first medical bill they put a hold on my card. Chart Snyder steals money from people, don't do an FSA with them.

We are forced to give at least 1 star because that is the only way we can give a rating.I would give them a negative if I could. I retired in July, I set up my health and vision insurance with them. We have been trying to get the vision insurance reactivated. I have now contacted 5 people including a supervisor and they still can't get the vision insurance activated. VSP said all they need to do is make a phone call but they can't even do that. However; they had no problem withdrawing the payment from my checking account. T... read more

Submitted a simple request for reimbursement of my doctor copay, nothing complex at all. Submitted a copy of the EOB as documentation. Did this on Nov. 10. No money no money no money, they emailed that the money would be deposited on Nov. 14. No money on 14th, No money on 15th. Called them, they claimed my bank account number was bad (hasn't changed in years) and bank rejected the deposit. Our interaction with the third party insurance managment company, Chard-Snyder 10/1/2015- were told Chard-Snyder had not been taking funds for health insurance and they wanted the $5,000 in full. Had to pay in full to continue insurance.  April 2018- Chard-Snyder didn’t activate our Benny card, even though we put funds towards it; there was $160 worth of fees never returned to us, that we Expensed out of pocket.
