Dr. Awad was very professional and quick with my pap smear and breast exam. He was concerned about spotting of old blood and ordered an ultrasound. In the past he wouldn’t test my hormones after menopause or prescribe HRT. I found a nurse practitioner Pamela Barstow who would test my hormones and prescribe HRT. Pamela Barstow is jointing this practice.
DISRESPECTFUL of patients and their time!!! Told me on the phone they could take my insurance; then in office said they do not take it. Wasted my whole day. Did not offer any reasonable pricing accommodations make up for THEIR mistake. As they are very careless w scheduling and managing basic things it’s likely good that I did not receive care here.
I’m really disappointed in the billing practices by Dr.Awad as they are predatory. I scheduled an office visit for a concern and he specifically charged me for a well woman visit, office visit and Diagnostic tests even though I mentioned I already had one this year. I got the bill two months later to notice that I was charged for a well woman visit and he refused to change the bill. This is a predatory practice and I do not recommend them. Dr. Charbel Awad at Reston Hospital is amazing. He did an excellent job with my C-section and delivery. He was calm, caring, and very reassuring throughout the entire process. The surgery went smoothly, my recovery has been great, and my baby was delivered safely. I’m incredibly grateful and highly recommend him.
