During Covid lockdown in 2020, I got an idea to rebuild my wooden deck with composite deck some extensions and convert part of it as screened space. Very happy with the new back porch! Quality is great, including the framework (e.g. they made sure the joist connections were level, weatherproofing tape was even, etc.). They also worked extremely quickly. We did have to follow up a couple times on some minor messaging, and the installation occurred a week earlier than initially expected but wasn't a big deal for us, being a little flexible was 100% worth it as they were very competitively priced; they beat out 5 other quotes by a good margin, and as far as I can tell the q... read more
End result was great! We are so happy with their work ethic and customer service. They were very kind and accommodating. Price was good for the work they did and they left the work site clean and picked up every day. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new deck!
Jadon the owner of Character Craftsman is very nice, professional, reasonably priced, and an expert in building decks! He built five decks in our neighborhood alone so that should tell you something!!! 🤩 Also, his workers are the best. They are at our house early in the morning and they stay until 7 PM every night. I don’t know how they do this kind of back-breaking work, but we sure do appreciate them. Five stars hire these guys - you won’t be disappointed and you will LOVE your new deck!
We had Character Craftsmen remove an old warped desk and replace with a new larger deck with all composite materials. All phases of the job were done professionally, on time, and the end result exceeded our expectations. The deck looks great and plan to use Character Craftsmen for additional projects.
