would leave 0 stars if i could solely based on the service. whoever the bartender was on friday night 10/31/2025 was one of the biggest jerks i have ever encountered in the service industry in my entire life, especially as a local of 30 years on cape cod. as soon as 9pm hit he started calling us derogatory names and kicked us out for tipping 15% for taking the caps off of 3 beers. would not advise, plenty of better places in the area to spend your money. bad place overall. cool history though
We only had one night at the chapter house but very much enjoyed our stay. Jim did a great job clueing us in to local restaurants, getting the fire going for us, and making sure we had some drinks. Beds and pillows were very comfortable for us. Looking forward to going back and staying for longer!
I honestly felt catfished by this hotel. The hotel is very old and very run down. In need of a major facelift but even a new coat of paint and some better interior design would go a long way. Everything was covered in cobwebs (lamps in the room especially). Very weird vibes and odd smell. The bar could have been cool if it was ever open. The grounds were nice but the outdoor seating was always covered and the fires never lit even though we were told they would be. Great time on the Cape...I was treated like a US Navy Captain...in his own home. Very nice staff.
I would recommend this place anytime Beautiful grounds and very nice rooms.
