Awesome mechanic. Alex explained everything to me when I was waiting for him to finish working on my car. This place doesn't want you to spend money unless it's necessary for your safety, or the vehicle's ability to start and go. Kash is extremely friendly and helpful with sourcing parts. He loaned me a car while I was in town. This is really helpful as I come over from Gabriola island and have many chores to do while on the big island. Thanks guys

Having just moved to Nanaimo was pleased to discover a hidden gem Chapman Motors. Having had Volvos since the 80,s was happy to find a a Volvo shop in Nanaimo. Went in to hopefully have them unlock my mags since I had lost the mag key. They were successful and discovered i needed a wheel bearing. Terry and team were fantastic. I managed to somehow blow an ignition coil. Instead of trying to upsell me on a full set of replacements, he was honest an admitted he'd never seen this before in an OEM part and could not track the problem past that. After installing a used coil, swapping out a full set of corroded spark plugs, and running a clean set of codes he recommended leaving it as-is and watching for the problem.
