I retained Maggie for my divorce and instead of fighting for me and taking my wishes seriously she would try to manipulate my decisions through suggesting possible negative outcomes. This was also done by her when I was trying to get an order of protection when that also became necessary. She suggested that I let the threats and incidents go in the name of the possibility of the other side being more friendly in the divorce proceedings. I had a consultation with a lawyer here in January. I was told that they would do some research regarding my claim and get back to me. Here we are almost 4 months later and I haven’t heard a peep. A few months back I tried getting in touch but they were never available and never returned my calls. What exactly did I pay the $50 consultation for?
