I truly can not thank Chaparral's veterinarians Dr. Liepman, Dr. Linehan, Dr. Walker and my own local vet, Dr. Shreve from Hassayampa Veterinary Services for recently saving my horse's life. Plus I am grateful for the continued nearly immediate direct communication with me; and, constant coordination with my local vet throughout her hospitalization, aftercare and recovery at home; regardless of business hours. My miniature donkey needed a tracheotomy, so my vet sent me to Dr. Liepman. Rather than doing an x-ray or ultra sound to find his trachea, she jumped in and “accidentally” severed his jugular vein. I was stunned. What breaks my heart is that he suffered at her hand. He was terrified..... I lost my sweet donkey to negligence. Do you really want to take your furry family member to a place that makes that kind of mistake? His death could have been avoided by a simple test. This was confirmed by a 3rd party vet.
