My Mom stayed at Chaparral Rose for the last year of her battle with lung cancer. The Owner was a Godsend. It is like visiting your mom at home when you go. As compared to a large facility institution. All the food is cooked from scratch. The staff is very professional, friendly, and caring. My mom was supposed to have only 1 to 3 months left. But with their care, and the relaxed environment she lived 14 months. She actually looked and felt better her whole stay. She passed quietly in her sleep one night.
