We stayed here in 2013 and were very pleased with the accommodations. However, when we made a return trip through the area, we were surprised to discover that the cost per night had risen by almost $25, and there was always a large car, always parked in the front of the motel, which made it difficult for visitors to drive up to the front door of the office in order to check in! Since the rooms are not any different than they were in 2013 - we can only wonder WHY the cost of the rooms had risen an additional $25 per night!
This is a retro motel than hasnt been updated since the 60's. Formerly a Budget Inn the smell of deoderizer as I walked in the room was staggering. I immediately developed a headache from it. The carpet was ripped in areas and there were cigarette burns in the carpet. The room was siimply weathered. The beds were old and springy- the room was tiny.
