Dr. Mah has been my family doctor for over 21 years, and I truly couldn’t ask for better care. He is consistently kind, compassionate, and patient. Single Fathers be aware of this clinic **** There were 2 people I spoke to today. The first one was very polite and the second one was very rude. This is now the second time I’ve dealt with this rude lady. I have submitted my guardianship order previously to this clinic which they would not acknowledge, I had to get my lawyer to contact the clinic which resulted in legal fees I had incurred for absolutely no reason. No longer a "walk-in" The few times over the years we've used this clinic when unable to get into our family doctor in a timely fashion, the doctors have been truly fantastic. However, heads up that this clinic no longer operates as a walk-in clinic (see a doctor without an appointment) as they are appointment only. I imagine they still see patients without a family doctor, which is why they still advertise as a walk-in, but if you are hoping to see a doctor same-day, this is no longer possible.
Dr Carter and staff are absolutely amazing, I always feel comfortable when I’m there, they actually talk to you rather just take a seat. Always very accommodating when I need them.
It is disrespectful and inappropriate to misrepresent the nature of your business as “walk-in.” Medical walk-in clinics have been in Calgary for over 50 years. A walk-in clinic is by very nature WALK IN. A patient walks in to attend triage. Then the patient is placed on a priority list to see a physician based on triage and arrival order. Walk-in does NOT entail walking in to be refused service without a prebooked appointment. That is called BY-APPOINTMENT-ONLY.
