Absolutely the best ob-gyn! Very sweet, cautious & amazing all the way around.. I trust Dr.Chao with my life been under his knife 3times.. so thankful he is in barstow I wouldnt trust anyone else the way I trust him! The wait is long but its worth the wait to have an amazing dr who knows what hes doing.
Doctor chao is amazing caring and understanding takes time to exsplain everything he is hands down the best ob in all the high desert cares about all his staff and paitients and can not think of one bad thing about him other then i wish he was my primary doctor i never ment a doctor so careing and treats all his paitents with some much care and theroness thank you doctor chao and Tan in all your hard work in providing the best paitent care.
Dr Chao is a great OB GYN he took great care of me during my later stage of pregnancy when all other OBs turned me away. He was there during my labor and once it failed and we had to do a c section, His wife came and became his team. Such a great husband and wife relationship. I enjoyed my birth of my son. I would say if your unsure of what OB to pick, Dr. Chao would take care of you.
He is kind and very patient. Not one of those doctors who doesn't even know your name and rushes in and out after waiting hours in their waiting room. He takes his time to address your questions. He was above and beyond helpful during my last pregnancy. I had a c section because I had a previous c section a year before. I must say I healed so fast, in a matter of a few days. I mean I still took it easy. He is an excellent surgeon. I was happy with my prenatal care and my delivery.
After months of trying to see a provider, I set up an apmt. w/ Dr. Chao for two weeks out on September 16th. His staff called me the day before my appointment and told me that my appointment had been canceled. Then they hung up on me. When I called back to reschedule, they said I could not get an appointment until December and then put me on hold and left the office.
Refused to assist with terminating pregnancy. Refused to refer onwards. Refused being a decent human.
