I was SO excited to go to Chantal's. When we got there they seemed short staffed and we had to wait a half hour past our appointment before someone was available to help us. That gave us time to go though the racks and look at all the beautiful dresses they stock (they had SO MANY gorgeous dresses!) BUT, I'm a size 12.. they only carry one of each dress, and almost all of the dresses that I wanted to try were a size 6 or 8, which means almost all of the dresses that I tried on couldn't be closed. Lovely staff, I found the perfect dress and I felt really comfortable in their store, almost like family and they made my entire group comfortable. We had some not great experiences that same day at other stores with some pushy people and my consultant was so helpful and attentive to me. Would definitely recommend this store to future brides
I am one of 6 bridesmaids in my friends upcoming wedding. The bride found a dress for all of us that she loved so we all went in for our fittings and the dresses were ordered. When I tried on the sample a size 12 it fit me perfectly but the shop insisted on ordering a size 14. I didn't agree but they pretty much forced me to get the 14 saying that the 12 was buckling at the zipper. The dresses came in a couple weeks ago and I went in to go and try it on. One of the ladies who runs it is very helpful& friendly... But the other is not. One of them said they would honour their Wedding Show deal, then when I went to pay for my dress the other lady wouldn't honour it. Their alterations are not good. At my final fitting it wasn't fitting right and their only suggestion was to add straps. When I said this would not work, as I purchased a STRAPLESS gown, they made me feel like I was being difficult. I have a very average body shape/type... should not have been an issue.
