What a rip off. You can go to the courthouse on any given day to see how many people they sue for breach of contract. This is how they really make their $$ screw actually training. And majority of the people who actually like this place are those who really know nothing about the sport!! Just like ElWeizel said in his review this place is a fake martial arts. I recently purchased a Groupon for my son from ATA. What a joke this place was. There definitely are hidden fees they don't tell you about until you are already there are ready to participate. My son was instructed to purchase equipment along with a backpack that they said would be used quite frequently. The equipment cost $171. In the 5 weeks he attended (2x a week), he used his gear one time! What a waste of almost $200 down the drain. I still can't f... read more

To Kick or not to Kick, the choice was mine – My family has been associated with Changing Lives Martial Arts since 2004, and in 2006 I decided to get my kick on. I absolutely love everything that i learned. You can't put a price on the life skills one learns while taking classes and the confidence you have when you walk out the door. I will most definitely recommend Changing Lives Martial Arts because i know what it has done for me and one can only imagine what i could do for you..

Fake Martial Arts – I can not, in good faith, recommend these people to anybody. I've never seen a martial arts studio that had 2nd and 3rd degree Black Belts who were incapable of kicking higher than their waist. Changing Lives ATA gives out meaningless "feel good about yourself" belts. In addition to the monthly cost and yearly member fee, there are hidden costs. Each belt upgrade (done every other month) will cost you between $50 and $200. Once you reach a certain point, you will need new uniforms that range from $300 to ... read more
