I came to Dr. Chaney under very rare circumstances. I had past experiences that left me less than trusting towards the field. Shauna, his receptionist, connected with me right away, and addressed all my apprehensions. I can admit, I probably wasn't the easiest patient....as I educated myself about my condition, and advocated for myself. Dr. Chaney took all the time I needed, addressed my concerns, apprehensions, even fears...he never once rushed me. Excellent bedside manner. Made me at ease for my surgery and surprised me with a check in before I was discharged. Extremely helpful with follow questions and gave me suggestions on recovery aides. If you are unfortunate and require emergency surgery, consider yourself lucky to get this surgeon!
