Dr. Rao is an amazing OBGYN. She is the type of doctor who truly cares about her patients. I became a patient of hers when my other doctor left and she took over his office. I was disappointed to lose my other doctor, but Dr Rao made it an easy transition and I feel so lucky to have had her deliver my second child. I highly recommend her for prenatal care.
I am extremely disappointed with Dr. Rao and honestly would not have given 1 star if I knew how to comment without it. I have not even had an opportunity to meet Dr. Rao. My doctor left private practice and Amita selected Rao to replace her. My 1st appointment was canceled, I received a voicemail message that my appointment was canceled and to call to reschedule. Love Dr.Rao!
Unreliable and unprofessional. I have called on many occasions to make an appointment with Dr. Rao and staff puts me on hold for a ridiculous time wait. I have had issues since January, explained to the front staff that I needed to see Dr. Rao as soon as possible but was given an appointment until April. I ended up in the ER Sunday which there, I was told I needed to follow up with Dr. Rao for an abnormal ultra sound report.
