I saw Dr. Paka regularly in 2018-2019, and I'm writing this review so many years later because a friend pointed out to me that the fact that experiences with this doctor still affect me so many years later means I should probably make other potential patients aware. I'm also older now and, with more reference points, understand what I should have stood up for and expected. Really condescending. I understand doctors can be busy, so I streamlined my visit-very concise questions. She talked SO fast, it was clear she was in a rush. Did not take me seriously, just cut me off and lectured me. I'd rather that she just tell me she's too busy to see me, than see me, bill for the visit, but speak rudely to me.
Dr. Paka and her team are the best OBGYN team - I’ve seen her for the past 4-5 years. She is very informative and comforting during procedures. I really appreciate how she is caring but also no-nonsense. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OBGYN in the area.
The golden rule applied to the front desk and nurse. "Treat someone the way you want them to treat you back", right? Even though first impressions were a bit distant or cold, they warmed up afterwards. Unfortunately, this wasn't the same with Dr. Paka. With all due respect, she could use more empathy and consideration when conversing with patients.
