Dr. Chandler Khoi did an emergency type back surgery on me on December 6 or 8, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital (Mercy Health), Northside. I had a herniated, or ruptured disc/cyst that was pressing on my spinal column from the disc being herniated , then was in a car accident where a lady rear-ended me with a mini bus. He saved me from being paralyzed, and I’m grateful to him for that reason. He knows neurology like the back of his hand!! I rate him a 10!!!
Best Doctor around. He saved the life of my mom, my dad, my aunt. He is so kind and compassionate. When I was in the hospital for something unrelated he stopped by my room just to visit me. He is definitely one of God's angels!
I had a spinal fusion done July 16, 2018. What Dr. Kohli did is fine so far, but his employee Christine is the rudest "nurse" I've ever encountered. I'm 4 weeks out of major surgery and still have a lot of pain. The Dr said that I could get 1 more refill on my pain meds. When I called to get them, Christine treated me as if I were lying. When I got upset because she wouldn't let me finish a sentence, she spoke to me like I was a drug crazed psycho. Find a different doctor.
8 months after surgery I have nerve damage, as surgical site. I complained for 4 months to him that I wasn't right, that the tingling in my foot was creeping up my leg and he kept saying oh it's normal in 6 wks you'll be fine I'M NOT! Now I have to see if this damage is reversible or permanent. Terrible Doctor!
My Myelogram yesterday went very well. Dr. Kholi was quick, efficient and accurate with this proceduce. I am up moving about with no discomfort.
He was straight up with me about the options I had for my back he performed surgery on my back 6/07/16 and I was up and walking the next day.
Our family could not have been more pleased with the care we received from Dr. Kohli. He did a fabulous job caring for my Dad, his surgical skills and bedside manor were amazing. What a blessing for us to have him as my Dad's doctor. Highly recommend!!
