I have lived in Chancery Square for three years and I am very happy here. I love the location, so close to the Morristown Green. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance as well as grocery stores, the library, the Morristown Performing Art Center and some nice retail shops. The management team at Chancery Square is great and they are very responsive to my needs. The maintenance department is extremely responsive as well. Unfortunately, I can’t leave 0 stars. As of recently, management has been blatantly negligent. I’ve spent multiple nights at a family members apartment here, and had significant issues that I know have been brought up to management numerous times. Despite numerous complaints by multiple residents I have spoken with, management refuses to even attempt to address the situation. The new staff is not friendly. They are not responsive to phone calls or emails. Justin was super helpful and Gianna was always super responsive. Both of them went above and beyond. It is a shame they no longer work here. The new team does not seem interested in helping the residents or doing their jobs. The new blonde lady in the office always seems confused and does not know what she is doing. She hides behind some huge monitor which makes her unapproachable. I lived at Chancery for almost two years, and overall, my experience was fine. I’m not normally one to complain, so despite some major issues, I appreciated the efforts from the maintenance and front desk team (from over a year ago) at the time, who were incredibly kind and helpful. It was tough to stay upset when they were doing their best, even when I went for weeks without a kitchen or appliances (which happened more than once). I lived here for two years and would not recommend. The fact that they call this apartment complex "luxury" is laughable. The kitchens are tiny, outdated and have no garbage disposal. We also had a ton of water damage to our ceilings, and most appliances were falling apart. The worst part? The AC units are super old and grimy - not great if you have allergies to dust. We also had mice during the wintertime despite keeping our kitchen immaculately clean. The only saving grace is the maintenance crew who are very kind and fast... read more
