I had a successful deviated septum surgery in November (turbinate reduction + sinuplasty), and I can finally breathe well after 30 years of living with it!! Overall the surgery and recovery were both quite quick, though I had one blip during post operation (uncommon and just bad luck). I found Dr. Chan to be very concise in his responses, but they’ll answer any questions you have (or go in more depth), but you need to ask. Shared similar feedback as other patients had pointed out. Chan seemed to be super rushed. He did not have time to let patient finish describing the problem, no time to answer questions and MyChart messages neither. He came late, wrapped up the conversation in 10mins, and immediately headed to the next patient. Instructions for followup action items and medication intake are missing too.
Dr. Chan recently performed a tonsillectomy on my daughter. From our first meeting to the surgery he was totally professional, very kind, and had great bedside manners. He’s a great doc and certainly deserves higher ratings than what show on Google!
I had a troat problem 1st the the said I have a big tonsil that's why, the I did surgery and got rid of it, still my troat hurts I went back 2wice the doctor saw me for like 3 minutes both times he just said its acid reflex, then asked me to to ph test something, and still has been 10 days since and hadn't heard any of my lab results or anything, since I did that surgery my troat has gotten worse everyday I wake up with a soar troat and this doctor cant help me anything with it.
He is very thoughtful and thorough doctor.
