Dr Chan is very intuitive and non judgemental. He was my primary care physician and my specialist. Dr Chan had a profound impact on my life. (I'm 8 years clean now.)
I'm really surprised that there's any bad reviews on here. Dr. Chan was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable, as was his staff. He really seems like the kind of doctor who actually cares about his patients, which in my experience is a rarity. Also, he's one of only two doctors in NY who's certified to implant the bridge device. So really, if he wanted to be mean, he could be, but he isn't. He's super nice.
This doctor shouldn't have a licence to practice medicine and psychiatry and also be a medical director of another place. He almost killed my son. He was our family doctor for like 15 years then he just stopped seeing us, literally they never answered the phone from my number or my son's or my other kids. I called on a different number and they answered right away but it was too late. My son already had no medications for like 4 months. He was his primary and shrink. I really like dr e chan, he is easy to talk to and outreach in Brentwood is great!
He's a reliable, very good doctor and easy to relate to. Certainly not a "quack" or arrogant in any way. I've never had a problem with the staff, they're very cordial. They're professional here, with nothing to be ashamed of.
