I stopped at Champs Chicken in Elkwood while grabbing fuel and decided to give their fried chicken a try—and I’m glad I did! The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. It’s the kind of fried chicken that makes a quick pit stop feel like a mini treat. Friendly service and a clean, welcoming spot make it worth a visit if you’re passing through. Definitely a happy surprise!
We stopped here after a long trip to get gas and then my son spotted the food... The young man serving the food was so nice and kind, and generous with the portions. Fried shrimp, chicken, and fish were all solid home cooking. I might have preferred a little more seasoning, but I had no complaints and we all enjoyed our food!
I love the people that work there, they are so kind!
Was not open when I stopped by on Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 p.m.
Two people working looked at me and said we're closed it was 2 close at 5. Very rude
