I can’t recommend Tim at Champs Auto Repair enough. Finding a mechanic you can actually trust is hard, and Tim has proven time and time again that he’s honest and genuinely cares about helping his customers. There have been several times where another shop told me something expensive needed to be fixed, and when I brought the car to Tim he took the time to really look at it, explain what was actually going on, and the repair ended up being much simpler and far less expensive than what I was originally told. The transmission on my son‘s truck went out. Thankfully, Champs was just right up the road. The staff was very honest about the situation, communicative, and straightforward about the costs. I didn’t price the repair around, but from previous experience, they seem pretty competitive. There was a delay on receiving the parts (This was all during the Christmas and New Year’s break.) they kept me informed and had it fixed on January 2.
