I wish I was leaving a higher rating. We were very excited for our date night on the train. My husband and I booked the train to celebrate our first anniversary. We drove up from Albany, NY. I can say our drive to the train station was more scenic than the train ride itself. Seated on the even side of the train, the view out our window was of the backs of homes and industrial buildings. Great food and service. We had a nice time, but they need two things: one, clean the train windows it was hard to see out of the train, and two, if they could have some music in the dinner cars that would have been nice.
Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed the train ride and the special dinner. Food was delicious and well presented however it would have been nice to have a glass for my beer instead of having to drink from the can. Overall we absolutely loved the dinner train experience! We will definitely do this again.
