Long story short, they train sales people to falsify pricing so they can sell the windows for twice what they're worth. The warranty is useless, they withheld over 1,000 in commissions after I got fired, and now they're refusing to give me my w2s. I am glad to see they're rocking a 3.5 now. I wonder if they know they got hacked.
We specifically went with a big company when we bought our windows so that if we ever had issues and when we did our remodel, we'd be able to get the same type of windows. They have moved out of Chicago but they also REFUSE to sell me the same windows so that my remodel all matches. So now I have 2 different windows in my home. I even offered to pick them up from WISCONSIN so that I could have matching, and they continuously refused saying they don't just sell windows. Where to start. They have lost my order TWICE now. Have my down payment but won’t call me back about this issue. Do not waste your time and money! Seems like all they do is play hot potato with the fun… have yet to receive a call.
I live in a condo unit (not on ground level) and have a garden window that Champion installed 11 years ago, 5 years later had a warranty replacement because the bottom was rotting and HAD A MUSHROOM GROWING in the INTERIOR base of my window! 6 years later and it is happening again and have been getting the run around for 7 months, just called Champion and the manufacturer 'denied' the warranty due to "maintenance neglect" (mind you I live in a multi story condo unit and CHAMPION did the caulking when they installed the windo... read more
