They need to get another bigger alligator out of there. Other than that good fishing.
Levee Park trail to Trinity River was blocked by tree.
There are actually two separate boat ramps in very close proximity at this location: Champions Lake and Pickett’s Bayou. We used the latter. Very nice, easy entry into Pickett’s Bayou.
Great park, with a butterfly garden. They have a fishing area and a boat ramp for boat with less then 10hp motors.
