Well the last time I ate gluten free it was like cardboard, but what a nice surprise Champaign and Gumboot was to my taste buds. the wife had to drag me in and after a minute I decided on jam roll and coffee, the coffee was smooth, the cake was bloody wonderful 😋- check my other posts I only give 5 stars if the food is exceptional and C&G is just that WONDERFUL 👌
First time visit today. We were looking forward to a sunny outdoor table in the beautiful Swan Valley but turns out the cafe is located at the back of a concrete jungle overlooking a carpark. We were after the full Valley experience on a sunny winter morning so was disappointed with this one ngl. Booked a table and the amazing team called to let me know their coffee machine was on the blink but we could still get coffee at their neighbouring shop (cheese shop) and bring it in. That’s excellent customer service! I enjoyed a filled bagel and a vanilla slice. My non-gf guests enjoyed a profiterole and jam roll. Get there before they close up shop in October
We used Champagne & Gumboots for our wedding cupcakes and they were honestly one of the highlights of the night. We ordered 150 cupcakes across five flavours (jam donut, yuzu, s’mores, red velvet and snickers), and every single one was incredible. Not only were they absolutely delicious, but the flavours themselves were so well thought out. Easily booked online. With follow up text to confirm. Getting there was easy. In the lovely Swan valley. When we arrived I found no greeting. Got a lot of looks tho. I had to tell them I had a booking and was then asked 'Name?' Thought that was a bit unwelcoming.
