Loveeee it here !!! It been one of the most peaceful neighborhoods ever !!! Not even the sound of the cars passing by bothers at all !! And soooo cheap to be located in chapel hill , if you are looking for a place to move in and be your first experience I do recommend, this is my first time living on my own and I feel really safe her actually, and the maintenance is good too !! So do recommend !!
I absolutely love living at River View! I enjoy the location as it’s a bus ride to Franklin street and close to campus and easy access to carrboro/chapel hill. The apartment complex is very clean and the leasing office staff/maintenance are helpful and quick to solve any issues!!
The lights outside my building have been out since I moved in, over 5 months. I have sent multiple requests to fix these lights via email, maintenance portal and even in-person. These are just the three lights I have to walk by to get to my apartment. There have also been issues with the other outside lights, these have been out for over a week, the property manager told me they would be back on in a week. No explanation for why the lights are out or any attempt to rectify the situation. This is a major safety issue as the s... read more
The new management team are already amazing! They have came in the door working hard, making improvements, and most of all actually assisting the residents and our needs. Anthony the new Manager sent such a welcoming notice that was much appreciated & John the Assistant Manager is something nice to look at and is very helpful. I planned to move out at the end of my lease, but I think I am going to renew now that they are here.
I lived at Chambers Ridge from August 16, 2019-June 16, 2022. The original owner had to sell in July 2021, due to all the people who didn't pay rent during Covid. It was a great place to live prior to being bought by Trademark Residential Properties, a REIT. Things went downhill quickly. There was rarely anyone in the office, if it was open at all. They put lipstick on the pig, by painting it, which was a messy disaster, and didn't much improve the appearance of the units. They spent money to renovate units, which upon inves... read more
