Absolutely Incredible Support A couple of years ago I purchased a Liftmaster garage door opener to replace the prior opener. My new one is equipped with MyQ and a camera. There was a blip in power the other day and as a result the app lost the connection with the garage door opener. I placed a call to Liftmaster MyQ and was in the queue for only seconds. Chamberlain / Liftmaster customer service does not exist, and technical support is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Website and online literature is useless. Use another company/product if at all possible.
The garage door opener product works fine except when you change WIFI! Then, the myQ Garage Door & Access Control App is a disaster! It literally will not work and I called the Chamberlain company and they said they would send me an email. Honestly, that feels like the equivalent of spitting in my face. SO LET ME REMIND YOU THAT THERE ARE OTHER GARAGE DOOR MANUFACTURERS, NOW whether they also use this garbage software is entirely another question. But you should ask because no one seems to be able to make it work right again... read more
Customer service is a joke! They make it impossible to get warranty service by sending parts that they expect you to replace. DON'T BUY A CHAMBERLAIN PRODUCT!
