They are just an extension of big pharma. Prescribing drugs without getting to the source of the problem. The doctors I have had are really not interested in learning or helping me, it's about getting me out as soon as possible and checking a box. Overall the VA needs a complete MAHA overhaul. They need more training in naturopathy, supplements, and alternative therapies and medicines other than pharmaceuticals.
Was there with my daughter. Worst care ever. I wouldn’t take my neighbors dog there for care. BP 171/111 and that is an everyday event. The DR (and I use that term loosely) said she couldn’t treat it. Had to go to urgent care and they don’t treat it, just send you back to your pcp. She did not care, period!!!! That is stroke level BP and she send her out into the world with NO treatment. It’s not the first time they have failed to treat her.
