The only good thing is that it cost my former employer and not me. Generic coaching on dated resume templates and networking for middle managers and absolutely no help for scientists and niche fields.

They combine the best combination of strategy, coaching and tools to find a new role. Coaches are great and really care. Their help with "personal branding" is second to none.

As part of my severance package, I was provided six weeks of help to find my next job. They guaranteed me that it would be easy with their network. After waiting two weeks for anyone to actually reach out to me (no guidance from anyone involved), I was on a phone call with an agent who had less experience than me in recruiting. I learned at CGC that they give you the tools and help you understand how to use them. You have to make them yours and put in the effort to be successful.
