I finally got ahold of the title person and she had stated that the delay was due to her being out for vacation and she apologized for the lack of communication as she could not understand why that was not relayed to me and why I wasn't transferred to her supervisor in this case. Paid off my account January 29 and I was told by the person I spoke to that it'd be 14 days for the lein to be released to the MVD. When I checked with the MVD they did not receive anything from Challenge Financial stating that my vehicle was paid off. When I reached back out to Challenge Financial they directed me to someone at extension:124 who never answers their phone. Paying off your vehicle should be an exciting experience, not like this. This company is weird , how are you going to have an auto loan with them , but not be reflecting on your credit ? The whole purpose of getting an auto loan is to get reporting to the credit bureau. They don’t report it . My girlfriend has an auto loan with them , she tried to trade the car in , but they said she has no auto loan , how is that possible ? She been paying it for 3 years . No credit reporting ? Is this legal ?
