We had our loan through Challenge Financial for 2.5 years - never missed a payment. The rates were horrible, but it was a necessary evil at the time, with our credit. Response to owner: This was not the case. Justify it as you want. I finally got ahold of the title person and she had stated that the delay was due to her being out for vacation and she apologized for the lack of communication as she could not understand why that was not relayed to me and why I wasn't transferred to her supervisor in this case. She cleared my account with the mvd at that time and said it'd take about 48 hours for this to appear on the mvd website (which was correct) and then I could request a paper title (wh... read more
Paid off my account January 29 and I was told by the person I spoke to that it'd be 14 days for the lein to be released to the MVD. When I checked with the MVD they did not receive anything from Challenge Financial stating that my vehicle was paid off. When I reached back out to Challenge Financial they directed me to someone at extension:124 who never answers their phone. Paying off your vehicle should be an exciting experience, not like this.
