Judgment over the phone is how a group of disappointed people like to do things also. Hope you understand next time, probably not the best idea to turn away people who haven’t seen. You could make your own judgement and turn people away and listen to a wine tour organiser also. Instead of another winery such as Richard Hamilton who practically lost you business because of there poor management and their lack of education with their RSA.

We had a group booking at Chalk Hill as part of a tour of three wineries. Unfortunately, we were refused entry without so much as being given the chance to walk through the door. Chalk Hill called our driver and told him not to bring us, based on information passed on from Richard Hamilton Wines. They never even met us, never assessed us themselves, and as a result, we missed out on our scheduled lunch. We visited this linconfield winery as part of a wine tour and were initially excited to support a local business. We spent a significant amount of money here and expected a welcoming and respectful experience. Unfortunately, we were deeply disappointed when we found out that a staff member from this winery contacted a staff member at the chalkhill winery, our next tour stop, and told them not to accept us. To be honest I think both chalk hill and Richard Hamilton Wines go by skin colour and discrimination from there on to be refusing people that they haven’t even seen before and going off word of mouth and gossip from winery to winery when there is a wine tour involved. Plenty of other winery that are better service and better wine that will accommodate a group rather than discriminate word of mouth and refuse a tour group.
