Cabin was nice but it smelled like Mildew! I have asthma and had breathing problems after I left because of it. Besides that it was good!
Can’t wait to be back definitely the coziest place Everything was perfectly done We had amazing weekend with our kids So calm clean and snuggly the cabin the sauna the firewood place and the hot tub 👌😍
We had a great experience at Pioneer cabinsThe cabin was equipped with everything you could need down to coffee filters and matches. I brought charcoal for the grill and stocked the fridge and we were good to go. It’s secluded enough without being too out of the way. It is about 10 minutes from most popular hikes/sights this cabin has Nice 2 bedroom with large living area. Clean and quiet.
The cabin we are assigned to has the worse odor we have ever encountered, like something dead is in the cabin. The front desk was not helpful and stated housekeeping checked it out and stated they didn’t notice any problem. Yet here I am at 2:40 am writing this with the terrible odor and feeling nauseous. We will be checking out this am ahead of our scheduled departure. Will never use VRBO again and certainly never consider staying at the Chalets, which should be changed to shams!
Beware of rodent infestation. Rodent urine and droppings all over the silverware. Opening the drawers and seeing mice. Not healthy and a health code violation. The bedsheets were also dirty and we had to ask for new bedsheets on the first night. I’ve stayed at cabins before and never had to deal with rodents. Rodent traps all over the cabin because they are aware of the situation. Mice got in our food and I did not feel comfortable staying there at all.
