The BEST! Especially for Arizona Trial users, love it here! Very friendly service.
I've stayed at the Chalet three different occasions - all involving hiking sections of the Arizona Trail. Marney and Jim provide tremendous support to the hiking (and traveling) public. I enjoyed the Chalet, finding it clean and affordable. Did I mention that there are special rates for Arizona Trail hikers? If you are hiking the AZT you owe yourself a zero here after the hard hikes in the Rincons and Santa Catalinas. This place has everything a hiker needs, and Jim and Marnie are the best hosts you could possibly ask for.
Bit over-priced but a decent enough stay. Nothing fancy; cute, A-frame charm. However, something (metaphysical) made my hubby very ill. The sticky rat traps and abundance of spiders (which I like), didn't help. Comfy and safe tho. Just don't turn on the ceiling fans.
This place is great! Definitely stay here if you have the chance! Beautiful A-frame cabins, very cozy on the inside.
