Chalet On The Lake The Chalets are very convenient for those working at DC Cook. The owners are fixing up there units and the grounds are kept well. I look forward to returning in January. The management and staff are courteous and helpful.
Summer Vacay I've been going here since I was a toddler. The Chalet that my family stays at is right on the beach and although it is cramped for a family of 6 its relaxing to just walk to the beach everyday. resort is older and could use some renovations but its fun all the same.
Poor Management - Incapable Board Our cottage (if you can call it that) was very dirty (feet would stick to the carpet). The porch looked as if it was ready to fall in and the upstairs was riddled with graffiti fit for an R rated movie. While we never saw a mouse - we did see plenty of mouse poop. Worst of it was when we reported the condition of our cottage to the management - they could not have cared less. The response was simply "We tell people it is a step up from camping". Summer loving.. I have a family member that has owned a spot and I have been going ever since I was prenatal. With a heated pool.. tennis courts and two beach fronts... and dunes located just steps away...
