Totally unexpected: a sunny green garden tucked into a magical forest; soak in the the spa and view the lake. So relaxing to hang out on the decks- 3 of them so you can chase the sun or seek shade. The home and creative studio are surprisingly well decorated and outfitted in an restrained, elegant way- this is not your usual Old Tahoe cabin. A beautiful lakeside escape with pristine attention to detail!! Amazing art and furniture and a only a short walk away from the lake and restaurants. The perfect Tahoe destination.
This place was a delight; I wish only that I'd been able to spend more time there. The location is wonderful to access Homewood, which was a much greater place to ski than I had expected, and I'd love to come back in the summer to check out the lake. Particularly the living room, kitchen, dining area was comfortable and pleasant - it felt like a real home, not a rental. A great, well supplied kitchen to cook in.
