Gorgeous place. Felt so homely. Place is clean and beautifully decorated. Cooked to order breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruits. Freshly baked muffins. So many choices. Nina is so attentive. She makes the place very special. Share her knowledge and experience about the mountain. All her recommendations were excellent. Great place for a family too.
We stayed at Chalet Alpina while in Jindabyne for the Ultra Trail Kosci 100, and it was the perfect place to stay. The rooms, common areas, and dining space were all spotless,, comfortable and beautifully maintained. Nina went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and things to do during our downtime. She’s an amazing cook and an exceptional host — couldn’t recommend Chalet Alpina more!
I rarely write reviews, but Chalet Alpina deserves one. Nina, the host, is truly the hostess with the mostest. Staying here feels like visiting your favourite relatives and never wanting to leave. She and her wonderful team go above and beyond. The breakfasts are generous and delicious and on mornings when you need to leave early , they even prepare breakfast to go with thoughtful options . Wow, what an incredible stay. Where do I even begin! We booked Chalet Alpina for a last minute snow stay in June and ever since then, we have been back 4 times with no hesitation to rebook again. We are consistently blown away by the cleanliness, warmth, homey and luxurious feel of this chalet and love spending our time here after and before our days on the slopes (which are super quick to drive to from the Chalet!).
