Wish I could give a Zero Star! Please Beware before renting from this community. They let you rent and then try to force you to buy. If you don’t buy they try to force you out and keep your deposit. My experience was horrible anywhere from a leaky roof, mold, soft spots under flooring, shower door that’s almost impossible to get into without a hassle and a the toilet almost falling through the floor. My boyfriend has lived in this community for over a year. Any time there is an issue with literally anything… no matter how many messages you leave, they go unanswered. He has issues every month paying rent at Publix. And if you ever suffer a hardship, don’t think this community will work with you because they do NOT… not even a little. They could care less as long as they get their money each every moth.
Chaffee Pines is not a community it’s a corporate trap dressed up like one. Here’s the truth no one tells you before you sign: First of all if you rent from them you will not get your security deposit back no matter how good of a tenant you were or condition you left your unit. Customer relations is a scam they will not help you. You can’t move in on the 1st. They’ll prorate your rent to extract extra cash, even though you’re locked into the same lease dates. I want to put out a honest review so that people know the truth. I have been staying here for only 6 months and it has been all a lie. When I first moved in it was all a rush my trailer cabinets were not put on, the trailer smelled like strong paint, all the doors were rushed on including the door knobs which fell of quick and I still have to replace. I have had problems with the AC 3 different times and the last time we had to be put the hole for 2 whole weeks because they had to replace the whole AC unit and decided to put... read more
