The AC at our lake house stopped working so I called Chad’s to diagnose/repair. Our hvac unit is 7 years old. John Walters came and and told me the refrigerant was low and most likely a leak in the evaporator coil. He told me the unit is no longer under warranty and it would be $4600 to replace. Then he advised I should just replace the whole unit for $12,500 because the lifespan is only 12-15 years. We called Chad's out to perform a maintenance check on the A/C unit before the Summer heat kicks in. The technician, Adam Armstrong did a fabulous job of explaining some problems he found and gave us options to fix them. Feel confident our A/C unit is ready to take on another Alabama Summer.!
