Excellent, well knowledgeable, and caring is the only way I can describe this doctor.
I'm grateful to Dr. Strittmatter - Four days ago, I had to undergo emergency surgery, requiring several stitches, at Sisters' Hospital, I had never met him, and before the surgery he asked thorough questions, was reassuring and had a decent bedside manner. I didn't speak to him after, but I feel great and feel he did a good job - I have no pain or negative after-effects.
Dr. Strittmatter was the on call for my delivery in 8/2016. . As a nurse myself, I am very cautious about my providers and like to vet them thoroughly. However, in this situation it’s not always possible. My first impression was that he was very professional, “all business” so to speak. If you want warm and fuzzy, it’s not him. This doctor is horrible! He was not thorough during my c section and because of that I hemorrhaged afterwards, I went into hypovelemic shock causing me to need an additional lifesaving surgery and I had to have a hysterectomy when my fiancée at the time and I wanted more children. Because of him I will never be able to have anymore kids unless we get a surrogate which costs roughly $200,000 and even then my baby would not have the same bond with me because I wouldn’t be able to carry him/her and they would hear someone else’... read more
