I went to see Dr. Scott for a routine annual physical and made the mistake of answering the questions he asked me. The appointment lasted approximately five minutes. I came to my annual physical expecting care from someone who might understand the struggles faced by LGBTQ+ folks but I leave feeling both betrayed and invisible.
