I came to my annual physical expecting care from someone who might understand the struggles faced by LGBTQ+ folks but I leave feeling both betrayed and invisible. Dr. Scott was supposed to assist me in the absence of another doctor (that’s a different story). I waited, in pain, for hours and finally called the nurse like for an update. She shared a message with me that Dr. Scott had written and said she would forward it to my MyChart. I wrote back with questions because the doctor that conducted my physical examination expressed various possibilities of my condition and varying treatment paths that were not included in Dr. Scott’s message. Dr. Scott is friendly, listens to my concerns, provides helpful solutions, and creates an overall good experience. I can typically get an appointment when I need one and when I arrive for an appointment, I never have much of a wait.
Uncaring and not knowledgeable. Avoid!
