Its so peaceful out there.
Family friendly, fenced in grounds with nice cemented covered pavilion, clean bathrooms, and a spacious kitchen provides a place to sit and eat.
This Festival was packed with people and free to get in. The Gumbo was great, there was a line for it!

Really cool fairgrounds. Not what you typically think of for a "fairgrounds". There's no 4-H club, exhibits, or animals. But the food is the best in the area, and the carnival is one of the best I've ever been to!! I highly recommend that everyone checks out the Gumbo festival every year in October!! You really don't want to miss this event. It's historic. It brings the community together. Everybody comes out for this, and yet, they still have room for more! Grab your kids and stop by!!
