I was dealing with back pain for almost 6 months. Came in for a 90 minute deep tissue and I’ve had almost no issues since. Not a luxurious oasis but effective and I’m so appreciative.
The massage lacked a lot- 1) she only used her elbows and forearm the whole time for my 60 mins fully body massage and completely skipped my hands and feet 2) there was no atmosphere including no music or relaxation 3) I decided to tip her anyway, and as I was leaving, she called me back in to tell me that my tip was insufficient because it was not a 20% tip. She insisted I tip her a full 20%- even tho the massage was not great- and stood and watched until I did so. Very awkward and uncomfortable. I will not go back.
This location generally pretty good, but the last time I was there, one of the women working there was incredibly rude and abrasive to a customer and then continued to yell and scream at her co-workers. This went on for about 20 minutes. Incredibly unprofessional and unpleasant. I will never go back.
The massage was good. Very strong. However I would not return because the therapist got angry at me when I paid and demanded a 20% tip because I was giving less than that! I've never been pressured to give more tip than I was offering anywhere. I was pretty shocked. I also didn't think the therapist understood much English so I couldn't really communicate any preferences.
