I first want to share that I live in the north shore & decided to go to cha to deliver my baby. It was worth the drive! I was originally scheduled for a C-section on April 8th, but my son decided to come early on March 27th. He was breech, and when I arrived at Cambridge CHA, the triage team was fabulous and very attentive right from the start. Dr. Franco saw me and was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring. I urge all perspective mothers to not give birth at CHA Cambridge Hospital. It's disheartening to have to tell this story but I will continue to tell it beginning with this review until the last day of my life in hopes that it can deter a mother from ever experiencing something as traumatizing and ethically unacceptable by the Cambridge Hospital physicians who's duty is to practice standard of care with the outermost ethics, however these doctors failed. I just had my daughter at the cha in Cambridge on the 6th and I must say the staff was amazing. Not only were the nurses so kind and respectful but I truly felt like myself and my daughters care was top priority with everyone I interacted with. The labor and delivery nurse Kim was literally a god sent with my anxiety issues. I felt so supported. After the delivery my nurse sammi was so supportive . I got so lucky to have such an amazing birthing experience. If I could give ten stars I would !
I had my IUD done here for the first time I did not realize it would be very un pleasant but I went for it and the nurse was okay but I definitely did not like the nurse assistant saying judgmental things to me about my pain tolerance and how “birth is worse honey” and laughing it’s weird behavior. I really feel like that’s out of line and overall was a horrible experience.
