Colleen at the front desk was unable to assist me, and showed no patience. I was frustrated because a doctor had yet to call me back, and she showed no understanding or professionalism. Instead, she called me hostile, told me to calm down, and took it very personally. I gave her the opportunity to assist me, and instead she hung up on me.
Excellent service
It's appalling how they manipulate the system to extract money from insurance the companie. Every visit costs my insurance over $500, yet instead of addressing the tooth that actually hurts, they perform unnecessary procedures. I once ended up in the emergency room after a poorly executed root canal performed by an unsupervised trainee. I had to receive intravenous antibiotics, my face swelled dramatically, I vomited, and I had a fever. To this day, they refuse to tell me the name of the dentist responsible. Dr. Tam is exceptional in my years of being a patient of his. He explains all matters very thoroughly, and in a very polite way. He conducts all treatments in a highly skilled way, is constantly aware of how I am doing, and explains what he is doing along the way. I have at times had bad days and he is very skilled at still communicating with me in an empathic manner. He also remembers my past, even from months/years ago. A rare exceptional doctor and person.
